America’s first National Park, The United States Congress established Yellowstone National Park in 1872. I could never have been prepared for the enormity, diversity and sheer beauty of Yellowstone. Depending on which entrance you choose, the landscape looks entirely different. From deep forests to carved canyons, hot springs and erupting geysers there is so much to see in this park. The kids will love the surprise views of buffalo, elk, wolves and even grizzly’s if you are lucky. Yellowstone sits atop a dormant volcano and you can’t help but be reminded at every moment of how old this land truly is.
“When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.” ― John Muir |
