Selecting Souvenirs That Create Family Travel Memories for a Lifetime

Families obviously want to create memories through travel. It is important to also consider how to make those memories last a lifetime though. Buying souvenirs is a good way to bring a piece of your vacation home. Every time you see the souvenir it will remind you of the family vacation you enjoyed. Below is a list of 8 souvenir suggestions.
Penny from a machine souvenir.  These machines typically require you put in two quarters and one penny. They press the penny so that it has a logo or design on it that represents the place you are visiting. Souvenir penny machines are located around the world and can be found by clicking here.

A refrigerator magnet is relatively inexpensive and can easily be displayed at home so you can frequently be reminded of the trip.

For a free idea consider collecting rocks. Rocks are everywhere. Find one on your trip and use a sharpie marker to write the vacation location and date on it.

Keychains are a fun, inexpensive option. Kids can attach them to their backpacks providing a fun jingle when they go to school. They are easy to find in any souvenir shop and will help your children remember your fun family vacation.

A more pricey option is to buy a t-shirt at each travel destination. Many people enjoy proudly wearing a t-shirt that states the location they traveled to. This can often be a good conversation starter as well.

If you are traveling to a foreign country consider bringing home some money as a souvenir. Kids often love learning about money from other countries so keeping their own to save is very special.

Christmas ornaments are generally easy to locate and make a fun souvenir. Every year at Christmas you can fondly remember your family trip as you decorate the Christmas tree.

If you plan on taking multiple family vacations over the years select a small, affordable souvenir. Every time you travel buy the same type of souvenir so you have a collection to remind you of every family vacation you took.

Enjoy your family vacation and don't forget to bring back a souvenir that will help keep the memories alive forever. Contact us for additional information about family travel.

It was nice of you recommending t-shirts as a souvenir because it demonstrates the places you have visited. My son and I have decided to gather a souvenir from each city we visit in the states, so it seems like t-shorts will be an awesome idea. Next time we make a trip, we will definitely visit gift stores and check out their ninety.
